An Auditor is an authorised person that independently performs a formal examination of systems, processes, or records for accuracy and compliance against globally-accepted standards.

Auditors are commonly associated with ensuring accuracy of financial information, however, there are many types of Auditors that also independently verify records, processes, and systems.

1. If you are interested in financial auditing, complete a bachelor degree in audit, taxation, managerial accounting, or a related field of study.
